What is Serverless Computing?  Serverless computing is a way to use the cloud, allowing more operational responsibilities to the host cloud server so that you can build and run applications and services without the use of your own servers.  It gives some of the responsibilities of infrastructure management tasks like provisioning, patching, operating system maintenance, and capacity provisioning, basically all of the backend servicing and everything required to run and scale any application is all taken care of by your cloud servicers, all while giving you full availability.

Why does Serverless Computing appeal to your business?  It allows the lower total cost of ownership of modern applications. This is achieved by allowing your developers to focus on the product and not so much on the managing and operating servers, transferring this operation to the cloud host.  This allows more time and money to put toward the application functionality.

This functionality is used by companies like Netflix, GE Appliances, Air BnB, Expedia, and BP all using AWS (Amazon Web Services) where they have a wide array of different services that can help with all your cloud needs.  They offer developer tools, repositories, and different resources to make your serverless computing a success.
